2 inch 24 gauge antiqued silver plated brass headpins. (1 inch = 25.4mm - photo NOT to scale)

These are a thin gauge that will usually fit through freshwater pearls. Since they are so long and thin, they tend not to arrive straight, but are easily straightened with your fingers or nylon pliers before use.
